Subject: | [amigactive] Broadband (Cable and ADSL) |
hi ppl
i`m currently thinking of getting a faster internet connection and
have been looking at whats out there.
i`m in UK so the the main things seem to be either cable with NTL
(although i`m not in a cable area yet) or BT`s ADSL which i`m close
enough to an exchange to get.
NTLs cable is capped at 512kbs/128kbs and BT`s ADSL is capped at
500kbs/250kbs.
so i`m just wondering which would be faster if they wasn`t capped and
what are the pro`s and con`s of them both?
also i suppose they wont work with a classic amiga without extra
hardware being added so i`ll probably wait for an AmigaOne which
should have no problems using broadband right?
cheers for any info :)
